Article 2 – Description of the service

Article 3 – Rates

  • Adult: Varies depending on the event
  • Children (under 12): Varies depending on the event
  • Children (under 6 years old): Free.

Article 4 – Reservations

  • Reservations can only be made via our website. www.chateausaintemarguerite.com
  • The number of places is limited.
  • The reservation is confirmed only after:
    • Receipt of full payment.
    • A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of payment.
  • Accepted payment methods: credit card or payment on site before the event.
  • Payment must be made within 72 hours of the reservation request, otherwise the reservation will be canceled.
  • The Château reserves the right to cancel the event if there are insufficient participants. In this case, a full refund will be made within 7 working days.

Article 5 – Modifications and cancellations

  • Any cancellation or change in the number of participants is possible at no cost up to 48 hours before the event.
  • After this period, no refunds or changes will be made.
  • No additional guests may be accepted on the day of the event, as menus are prepared according to the exact number of confirmed attendees.
  • Force majeure: In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (bad weather, health restrictions, etc.), the Château will offer to postpone the event or provide a full refund.

Article 6 – Allergens

  • Any food allergies or intolerances must be reported at the time of booking.
  • The Château accepts no responsibility in the event of an allergen being forgotten or not declared by the customer.

Article 7 – Provision of services

  • Accessible areas: Reception room, adjoining terrace, and chairs (as part of the guided tour only).
  • Restricted areas: Estate offices and kitchens (for health and safety reasons).
  • In the event of a significant delay, the visit or access to the event may be reduced or canceled at the discretion of the organization, without refund.
  • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on the terrace. Smokers must go to the designated smoking area at the entrance to the Château.
  • Overtime: Any overtime beyond one hour after the scheduled end of the event will be charged at €30 per person per hour or part thereof.

Article 8 – Additional tasting (optional)

  • A private tasting of seven wines from the Château's complete range can be added to complement the food and wine pairing included in the events.
  • Supplement: €15 per person.
  • Duration: approximately 30 minutes, at the end of the event.
  • Reservation: Must be mentioned when booking by email.

Article 9 – Animals

  • Small pets are allowed if they are kept on a leash or in a bag/carrier, and do not disturb other participants.
  • The Château reserves the right to refuse access to an animal if its presence contravenes hygiene, safety, or the smooth running of the event.

Article 10 – Customer responsibilities

  • Children remain the responsibility of their parents throughout the event.
  • The glasses served are tasting glasses. Each participant is required to moderate their consumption. Alcohol consumption is strictly reserved for adults; identification may be requested. Free breathalyzers are available at the cellar.
  • In the event of breakage or damage to property belonging to the Château, repairs exceeding €50 excluding tax may be charged to the customer.
  • Failure to comply with instructions or schedules may result in exclusion from the event without refund.

Article 11 – Accessibility

  • The Château welcomes people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Please indicate your specific needs when booking so that we can organize your visit in the best possible conditions.

Article 12 – Protection of personal data

  • The personal data collected (name, email address, allergies, etc.) is used solely for the purpose of managing reservations and running the event.
  • They will not be passed on to third parties or stored beyond the necessary period, unless express consent is given.
  • In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your data by contacting us at contact@chateausaintemarguerite.com.

Article 13 – Intellectual Property

  • By participating in the event, guests agree that photos or videos may be taken by the Château for promotional purposes, unless explicitly opposed in writing prior to the event.

Article 14 – Liability of the organizer

  • The Château undertakes to comply with current health and safety standards. It cannot be held liable for any incident resulting from the fault or negligence of the participant.

Article 15 – General provisions

  • Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refusal of access to the event, without refund.
  • The cellars are only accessible as part of a guided tour; no free access is permitted.
  • All reservations imply unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Applicable law and disputes: These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be preferred. Failing this, the competent court will be that of Toulon.
