The Château Sainte Marguerite is 124 acres, which is divided into 4 vineyard sites around Londe Les Maures: Sainte Marguerite, La Désirade, Sainte Pons et Valcros. The soil type of these 4 parcels is overall identical; a schistous soil very low in organic matter. Planted here are: Cinsault, Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Ugni-Blanc, Rolle, Sémillon and Clairette, expressed with much subtlety to create at the same time complex and extravagant assemblages. The vineyard is held with an extreme rigour and a permanent respect for the environment.
